What does a solar appointment setter do?
A solar appointment setter follows up new enquiries quickly by phone, SMS and email, qualifies them against your criteria (roof, bills, ownership and budget), books consultations into your consultants’ calendars, sends reminders, and records every conversation in the CRM. Many also prepare quotes and proposals for the consultant to review before the visit.
Will they sell to our customers?
They follow up, qualify and book to a script you agree. Pricing decisions and closing stay with your consultants, unless you decide otherwise.
What does it cost?
From AUD $12 to $18 an hour, depending on the role and experience required. Recruitment, onboarding, payroll administration, account management and IT support are included in that rate.
Will they work our hours?
Yes. Your assistant works the hours agreed with you, aligned to your Australian business day, including the evening follow-up window if you need it.
